At The Bright Cub, customer satisfaction and child safety are our highest priorities. We strive to deliver premium-quality sensory and educational toys that meet the expectations of parents and caregivers. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The item received is damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete.
  • The return request is raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with tags, manuals, accessories, and invoice intact.
  • The product is not categorized as a Final Sale Item.


2. Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

For hygiene, safety, and operational reasons, the following products are non-returnable and non-refundable unless received damaged or defective:

  • Clearance or discounted products
  • Final sale items
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Gift cards or promotional items
  • Opened sensory products where hygiene seals are broken
  • Products damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or normal wear and tear


3. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos/videos of the product
  • Images of packaging and shipping label

Upon verification, we may:

  • Replace the item
  • Offer store credit
  • Process a refund to the original payment method


4. Return Process

To initiate a return:

Include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Supporting images/videos if applicable

Our support team will review your request within 2–5 business days.


5. Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within:

  • 5–10 business days for prepaid orders
  • Store credits may be issued instantly in certain cases

Shipping charges, COD handling fees, taxes, and payment gateway charges are non-refundable unless the error was caused by us.


6. Cancellation Policy

Orders may only be cancelled before shipment confirmation.

Once an order is shipped:

  • Cancellation requests cannot be accepted.
  • Customers may initiate a return only if eligible under this policy.

The Bright Cub reserves the right to cancel any order due to:

  • Pricing errors
  • Inventory issues
  • Fraud suspicion
  • Payment authorization failure
  • Incomplete customer information


7. Return Shipping

  • Customers may be responsible for return shipping charges unless the product is defective or incorrectly delivered.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
  • The Bright Cub is not responsible for lost return shipments.


8. Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention

Fraudulent chargebacks, abuse of refund policies, or false claims may result in:

  • Permanent account restriction
  • Legal action
  • Reporting to payment processors and relevant authorities


9. Consumer Rights

This policy complies with applicable Indian consumer protection laws, including:

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Information Technology Act, 2000

Nothing in this policy limits statutory consumer rights available under applicable law.
